Cannot Find Add-in Outlook For Mac

Cannot Find Add-in Outlook For Mac 6,0/10 5719 votes

Hello, I am running Outlook 2013, with Windows 7 (64-bit). I ran through the installation wizard and everything appeared to install. When I opened Outlook 2013, I was unable to find the add-in (Auto BCC/CC).

If you recently created a new Outlook Profile in Outlook 2016 for Mac, or a new Identity in Outlook for Mac 2011, added a new account, or if you recently imported new data from a source such as a PST or OLM file, Spotlight indexing may not be complete. As per this Microsoft post, it is impossible to add add-ins to Outlook for Mac if you are using IMAP accounts. So I cannot install the Evernote add in. (I have Outlook for Mac latest version 16.11 Office 365 subscription).

I searched for the add-in under File-Options-Add-ins and the able-bits was not listed under the active, or inactive, or disabled application list. I then went to Manage Com add-ins (in the same dialogue box) and the Auto BCC/CC was not listed as an available Add-in. Next, I tried to add by finding the AdminAutoBCC.exe (loaded in the User/Appdata/Roaming/Add-in Express/AutoBCC for Microsoft Outlook directory) and a message indicated that this was not a valid office add-in. Sierra for mac pro. Please let me know how to correctly include this add-in with my Outlook 2013. I have already purchased the product (with out using a trial version first.maybe a mistake?).

Sincerely, Kyle. Go to Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs and uninstall the add-in. 2. Right-click on the.ZIP folder with the Auto BCC files and select to extract all. Open the extracted folder, right-click on setup.exe and choose to run as administrator. Follow the steps of the Installation Wizard. Open Outlook and check if the add-in appeared under the Ablebits.com tab. Please note that it is important to select the Run as Administrator option even if you are the administrator on your PC.

If you don't get this option, please make sure that you unpacked the.ZIP folder.

After moving mailboxes from Exchange 2013 to 2016, Outlook for Mac 2016 cannot connect to Exchange anymore. In the lower right corner, status changes between 'connecting' and 'not connected' every second. When trying to configure a new mail account, the status indicator stays yellow. I have tried with version 15.23, 15.25, 15.26 and 15.27, but Outlook will not cannot connect to Exchange 2016. The connection point remains the same () for the mail account. Using Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer, accounts with mailbox at 2013 and 2016 connects successfully, but there are differences in the output.

The output in EcpUrl-xxx lines are different, but the rest of the output looks the same (except of course X-BEServer and other tags that refers to the actual Exchange server accessed). Tried to completely uninstall Office 2016 and installed the original 15.23 version, same result.

If I move a user mailbox back to the Exchange 2013 server again, Outlook can again connect. I have followed this article: That did not have any impact. 1.From Finder, open the Applications folder. 2.Ctrl+click or right-click Microsoft Outlook, and then click Show Package Contents. Open Contents > SharedSupport, and then double-click Outlook Profile Manager.

Click the Create a new profile button +, and then type a name for the new profile. Setup your Exchange 2016 mailbox in new profile to have a try. Confirm if the issue can be resolved. I have tried to create a new profile, but that had noe effect.

Still can't connect to Exchange 2016. Regards, Espen Kjellas Hi, Please make sure the Autodiscover service for your Exchange 2016 is configured properly in server side: Make sure the Autodiscover.domain.com is pointed to your Exchange 2016. If there is no issue with autodiscover service, please try to uninstall you Office for Mac 2016 then reinstall it back to have a try: Regards, Winnie Liang Please remember to mark the replies as an answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
