Tile App For Mac

I have it, you download their app and connect phone to a tile that you then attach to purse or keys etc. But, of course, once you use it the app stays running even if you close it, then you get the fun of the usage and standby being the same.

I just want to share this awesome application i came across a couple of weeks ago. Docker for mac multiple machines. Being a linux user I like tiling window managers, and my i tried to keep my desktop as neat and tidy as possible using SizeUp and various other applications that allow you to snap windows to corners and sides with shortcuts.

This is however not really the tiling behaviour that I was looking for (even though i've owned Apple since 98). What I would like was something like i3 which it personally think is the one of the best tiling window managers for linux.

To be honest, this application is not a true window manager, since the window manager in OSX can no longer be replaced. The application is called chunkwm and it is available through brew or sources Here is an image you can adjust everything from the margin between windows and the border of the screen, and customize all the shortcuts (default is some kind of vim alike layout).

To be fair, this is not an application for novice users and i requires you to have basic knowledge about using a terminal and a text editor to edit at setup the configuration. If that does not scare you off its definitely worth checking out. I mean switching like, not the hjkl movements, but that's again just subjective, someone will find that it's better-suited for him, I've just found an option and wanted to share that. I can come up with issue with macvim for example, macvim and chunkwm really badly interfere with each other, at least on my machine. I really appreciate Asmund's work and have a great hope for that project, and I definitely will stick with it by now, but it doesn't feel solid, sometimes random stuff happens like windows just jumping to the other monitor, windows suddenly become floating etc Btw, I noticed for chunkwm recently, still didn't tried this but will check soon • • • • •.
