Replacement For Mac Pro Mid 2012 Ati Radeon Hd 5870 1024 Mb

I tried to upgrade from the GTX 285 to the 5870. So far I can it only get the dvi port to work, not the display port. I tried 3 monitors; 27' LED, 24' LED (both with display port) and an older 20' (dvi). The dvi works with the 20' or if I use a dvi to display port adapter for the 24'. The 27' won't work correctly with the adapter and the resolution won't go up past 1200x800. Not sure if it's a driver or hardware issue yet.

Maybe I should start off by saying the reason for my switch to the Radeon HD 5870.
