Just need to know for sure. Cisco console cable driver. If it's recommended that I do this update, why did I get a warning a week ago that 'Your firefox is out of date but the latest version is. I have been receiving conflicting information from Mozilla about this issue. A week ago I received this notification: 'Your Firefox is now out of date, but the latest version is not supported on your system.' And told to upgrade my Mac system as soon as possible. But on the same day I also received the information that this update/non-supported issue will not take effect till August 2016. And now I'm getting constant messages telling me to update my Firefox to version 46.0.1. So what is actually happening? Is it still okay to update Firefox until August, without changing my Mac?

Mac

Turned out there was nothing wrong with his computer, just that the update wasn't meant for his system. I've been wary ever since. I fully intend to upgrade to El Capitan within the next month or so, once I decide which wordprocessing software to switch to. The newest version of Pages has dropped a feature that's essential to the kind of work I do, so after 22 years of using Apple's own programme, I'm afraid I'll need to move to something else.

Very irritating. Anyway, thanks for your perspective. Are you connected with Mozilla as a developer, or are you just a Firefox user like me?
