Kerio Connect For Outlook Mac
We have the newest Kerio Version 9.2.0 installed. We use Kerio since Version 7.x only with MAC's iCal and Addressbook via caldav/carddav.
Now, we plan to get more Windows Machines and wish to use Outlook same as iCal. In the past Outlook 2016 was not supported now with 9.2.0 it seems to be working.
What i got is the complete Addressbook (GAL and private) and the personal Calendar. But, i can not subscribe connect to Calendars which are shared for me. Does Kerio support shared Calendars under Outlook 2016? Is EWS configured with the Autoconfig tool under Mac OSX?
I'd like to see EWS 2010 support in Kerio Connect to enable EASY setup for Mail.app and Outlook 2016. The cumbersome integration installers doesn't do it for enterprise deployment. It seems to me that Kerio is putting a lot of work in the Kerio Connect client, a part of the software that our users only use as a last resort. Kerio Connect Mailserver is a full featured mail server which includes spam protection and can scan incoming mail with Sophos antivirus. It has many of the same features as Exchange and Mac Entourage including shared calendars.
Maybe i am wrong with the way of calendar sharing for Outlook. With iCal i got a notification if someone shares a calendar to me and i can decide to accept or not. Using Outlook i never got a notification. Maybe that's right. So i try to subscribe a calendar by use the option 'open shared calendar' and then type in the user who shares a calendar to me.
You could also use a VM (like VirtualBox or BootCamp) on your Mac, but for that you will need a recent Windows-installer also. @David Tomlinson: Sorry to hear this doesn’t work for you yet. Result is, i got a message that i do not have the access rights to subscribe any calendar from that account. What's going wrong here?
