Why Is Fortnite For Mac Laggy

It's been bad for me the last 2 nights. I have two ISP's hard wired running only Xbox and both having issues. PVE is bad as well. I've seen a player glitched upside down running bent over in PVP and not taking damage win game(so did rest of my platoon after he killed us all) BF1 anf COD not having issues. Epic did post about slowed server performance due to INTEL vulnerability issuesYeah, as you said its Meltdown and Spectre. Its a big issue thats going to have a big effect on cloud services and servers.

I had a 1060 6gb and was experiencing terrible lag and stutter in Fortnite. Can anyone else try Fortnite in MacOS 10.13.3 and report back?

Its good that Epic are talking openly about, but its definitely effecting many, many other games and services. PUBG runs on the same AWS service that Fortnite runs on for example, and H1Z1 uses it for spillover (primarily uses Daybreak).

I've been experiencing some little issues like for example: I'm in a duel 1v1 and shot a shotgun shell, I'm about to fire again and suddenly without hearing or seeing a shot animation from the other guy I'm dead, sometimes it just seems like my game lost a single frame and I'm dead and my character is like still standing with his gun and vanishes LOL. Idk, it's weird, maybe idk how to explain myself very well but I know it's not my end, I have a very decent connection.

Feels like my opponent is having an unfair advantage. I hope the game gets better in the lag issue.
