Phil wanted 256GB SSD and 16GB Ram as Minimum for the Macbook Air and Mac Mini.
Tim responded like 'you can take these expensive components from my cold dead hands and give them away for free'. And Jony was insulted because he wanted a new cinema display he already designed. Tim was like 'that would cannibalize our iMac pro sales, so no no!'

And having 2 differnt looking displays Well for 10 k machine is just a bad Joke. ( iMac pro + a LG display) i want symetry or same look and feel. They finaly embrache egpu but no Apple screen to pair it with. You buy a new Mac mini that is way overpriced and it just doesnt have a screen option from Apple.
Tge real threat to iMac pro is the new iMac With a 8 core cpu. Why is there still no new iMac?
I think there is a lot of trouble in Apple land why design stuff and not sell it? A Apple cinema display would sell i know it.
John was right. Also phil is right those SSDs are non replaceble and fill up quick if you target pro’s with your Mac mini it should be big just like there asking price. I could buy a Intel hadies Cannon nuc thats a lot better then this little mini and upgradable and has a great videocard (vega m).

They both passed on taking part, instead, they went to a taco bell. Steve would have never allowed this. Well Steve would have done things different, but he is not here. I do think your right a bout that tim. He is accountant, that doesnt see the big picture in things. You sell a computer with out a display, but you could sell that same costumor a display. Hell im real mad this Mac mini is crap!
