I must admit i have asked john deere wuestion before. Im not a big fan of them personally but you could show a child in my area a generic green tractor picture and they will say john deere. Show the same kid a detailed picture of a fill in the blank tractor and they just say tractor. Jd has done an excellent job of marketing themselves over the years even if you dont like the product. So is op trolling, maybe maybe not, but this question will continue to pop up.
No need to go crazy about it. And as for the pc console thing everybody has their preference and no need to go crazy about that. Sure a pc can do more but my console is my 'home entertainment system'. Cant let my three year old play farm sim on pc without them destroying it like i can my console.
(Thats what happened to last pc). So go easy on it. Everyone plays the game on the system they like.
And it shouldn't be shocking that everyone wants all the mods so they csn play the game they like on the device they have the way they want. And as far as reading is concerned take this into consideration.
Have you ever done something that you read you shouldn't do. Take for instance that speed limit sign that you passed doing five over.
Oh what that sign didnt apply to you? Food for thought.
Destineer Studios subsidiary on Wednesday said that it will ship two new John Deere games for Macs and PCs in September. Welcome to Merriweather Farm lets children plow fields, plant and harvest crops, bring their bounty to market and more. Johnny Tractor, Allie Gator and Corey Combine are the stars. Busy Days in Deerfield Valley challenges kids to work with Barney Backhoe to fix a bridge, build a library with Luke Loader and perform tasks with other anthropomorphic heavy equipment as they play a variety of scenarios.
Both games are based on childrenis books from Parachute Publishing and were developed by Gabriel Interactive. They will sell for US$19.99 each. Product pages were not available on the Bold Games Web site as The Mac Observer posted this article.
Bold Games was founded by former Bungie Software and Apple executive Peter Tamte in 2001. He used the company to publish Links Championship Edition, Age of Empires II and other games for the Mac. In 2003, he purchased, a company he founded well over a decade ago, from Atari and placed it and Bold under the Destineer Studios banner. While MacSoft is used to publish Mac-only games, the Bold label gets placed on games that are PC-only or Mac/PC hybrids (meaning both versions of the game ship on the same disc). Close Combat: First to Fight, however, was a Destineer release, given its high profile on the Mac, PC and Xbox platforms.
